News about the sequels

Now that The Way of Water has been released and the production of the sequels 3, 4 and 5 has been confirmed, James Cameron is bit by bit releasing more info on the upcoming movies. This is the place to post and discuss those announcements!

I'll start with 2 things that came to my attention today:

Firstly he tells us that in Avatar 3 we'll not just be meeting one new culture, but two! And at least one of them will be centered around FIRE (probably volcanic)

Secondly, he talks about how each of the upcoming sequels will be seen through different people's (Avatar's) eyes, and that the 3rd movie will be narrated by Lo'ak. Very interesting. This means that Kiri will also probably get one, and maybe Tuk?
What puzzles me is that the 4th movie is rumored to be titled The Tulkun Rider, so that would've been the obvious movie for Lo'ak to narrate, instead of the 3rd one. Maybe he gets two? Jake got two.

More news: it has been confirmed that the Tsahik of the volcanic tribe will be named Varang, and will be portrayed by Oona Chaplin.

I also wanted to highlight this quote from Jon Landau:

Producer Jon Landau commented on the characterization of the Ash people, hinting to Empire Magazine that the story is likely more complicated than an oversimplified good versus evil plot. "There are good humans, and there are bad humans — the same thing on the Navi side — but oftentimes, people don't see themselves as bad," Landau said. "What is the root cause of how they evolve into what we perceive as bad? Maybe there are other factors that we're not aware of."

Jon Landau has confirmed that the rumour that Vin Diesel will make an appearance in one of the Avatar movies is just that: a rumour.
