Re: A real pain in the txim and handling zombies thread...
A week (according to plans) *_*
(I started to feel like I'm on the edge of vomiting the hollowing pain that fills up my whole inside out.
I am clearly not made for this, no matter what everybody tells me.)

Isn't there something to numb all feelings, so you don't have to feel anymore?
Life always felt like a nightmare you simply can't wake up from ... it got worse recently.

Yes, indeed. Especially 'nice' when you try to pull up or down your trousers, or get in or out of your tights, not to mention your shoes.

Do you have Voltaren or something like that? It might help a bit - together with a long, hot bath.

Hmm. Yeah, I got something similar (Kytta Balsam F). I'll try it later.

So how's the leg this morning? Feeling any better? What did the doc say?

Better - even significantly (it's pretty much a joke that such things start to gte better by themself shortly before seeing a doctor).
I got a Adduktorenzerrung (Pulled adductor - that's a muscle on the inner side of the tigh). I'll be home today and tomorrow and I guess it'll get better over the weekend. He said I should get some rest and stay warm. Also a little walk would be OK.
And he even will write a few sentences for hte health insurance so that I finally might get my HPV shot (virginity ftw).
Annoying: Calling work and what does the boss say? "You have to call until 9am as the core working time will start then and you'll have to inform until then. .... But it's OK now." Why thanks - I just came from the doc and had to wait for over an hour. Jeez. (At least our secretary was very nice and said it wouldn't really matter. And shell write a short notice to the head of hte institute. What a hassle.)

Good: That your leg's getting better
Sucks: The comment of your boss... gee, I know that I'm not always happy with my work, but at least people ain't so nitpicky here. Would have done it exactly like you, call when I'm back from the doctor. After all you did tell them yesterday already that you're going there this morning.

You just gotta love these days when you're already ina super urgent situatio and all of a sudden something that you counted on just floats fastly down south (in this case: someone jumped off). I nearly got a heart attack (really - I felt totally dizzy and cold in my face). I just hope this will go to an end and work out somehow. And next week the next stuff is on. While I still have to do real work. AARRRRGGHH

Yeah, it's kinda like requesting something like this:
"If you happen to die, make sure you inform us not earlier than 08:30 but not later than 09:30, otherwise you will be suspended".

Re: A real pain in the txim and handling zombies thread...
Yesterday at lunch break:
My colleague and one of her als overy 'girlish' firends talking about look again. At some point it comes to hairdos.
My colleague (she's quite pale with long, dark, very sleek hair) says something along the ways how complicated to handle her hair is and that it's so much work to blow dry it and so on.
Me (clearly jokingly): "Want my hair?"
colleague: "No!"
friendofcolleague: "I think a mixture of you both hair types would look really good."
colleague: "Uh - I don't think I got the right skin colour for that."
Say what? You need a certain 'tan' to have curls? And what the heck did she just say there?
Why am I surrouded by such people?

Re: A real pain in the txim and handling zombies thread...
When I had just finished school I worked for a few weeks in one of the local cosmetic factories... it wasn't cause I was interested in cosmetics that much, but they were one of the companies who offered vacation jobs for students.
We students worked together with the regular staff there... and one of those regular staff girls, a really pretty girl, was talking the whole 3 or 4 weeks about her nose, how ugly she thinks it was (actually it was really pretty, I never got what disturbed her that much), and how she wants a nose job done but doesn't have the money for it... she was really nice apart from that, but at the end of my time there I was ready to kill either her or me
There are people like that - I've read a nice description of that one day: "The light in her eyes is the sun shining through the emptiness in her head."
Of course they're a torture for anyone with more than two brain cells.

Aw man.
LoL (where's Son Goku when you need him? >_>) I never heard of that saying, but it surely fits.

No idea what Son Goku has to do with it...
But the description was out of a fantasy novel I've just read... it somehow kinda stuck in my mind.

Once my wife watched a show, I think with Oprah Winfrey, and there was one very beautiful girl, in nearly perfect shape too, who was desperate to gather enough money for some "corrective" surgery on her face, on her beautiful face... I was like WHAT THE HELL...?
