I still don't get the whole thing... call me chicken, but pouring a bucket of ice water over me ain't my idea of fun

Especially as most of the people doing this do the donation (that one I get and think it's a good thing) anyway. So why do the bucket addidionally? (yeah, I have a huge dislike for cold water )
