In: The First Settlement

Name: Run'tstew (People call him Run'tey too)

Hair: Black, shoulder length thin braids, a few beads decorating the ends.
Eyes: Gold, rimmed with green.

Run'tstew was a born explorer, but he has no head for listening to rules. He is the middle child in his uncommon family of five siblings. The two older are his sister, Srew'kem (25), a dancer, and his brother Hrrapnak (21), a hunter. His two younger siblings are twin boy and girl Pal'ite and Nan'ite (7). Nan'ite is a special little girl, because she was born with the mark of an atokrina on her forehead, something the clan has considered a special sign from Eywa. Run'tstew has the same mark, but it is on his shoulder, but he hides it with a shoulder brace he wears.

With such a large family, it is easy for Run'tstew to sneak off and explore on his own without being missed.

The Goldrim twins share a passion for Pandora. They help to push each other in their work, to do better. Alec is a geologist, and came to Pandora to study the unique magnetic properties of the moon. Deanna came to learn about the plants bioluminescence and to study the Na'vi language and people. Alec is eager to study and survey the land, but unlike his sister is skeptical and cautious about the natives.

Occupation: Extremely advanced technological skills, but works as an archeologist and artifact restorer.

Ryla is winding down in her years as a 'young Asari', or so the people say she should be, however Ryla still acts as a young woman of 100! She is annoyed by the notion that by 300 she should be turning into a matron figure. She embraces and relates more with her human father's culture, but still holds pride for her race as an Asari. She worked with her best friend, Riyuu Lestran, another Asarian archeologist, until they were separated by a fatal ship crash in an asteroid belt that many found mysterious. Ryla refuses to believe her best friend was unable to pilot the ship, and constantly tries to get permission to go and examine the crash site, but is constantly denied. On her latest attempt to get close to the site Ryla picked up some mysterious readings on her scanners that she couldn't explain...

Role Play: Beyond the Infinite

Skin Color: Dark Gray with her head being a lighter shade of gray. Her face is adorned with a typical “tattoo” signifying what part of Palaven she is from.

Backstory:
Born and raised like many other Turian families, parents were both in the military, Turian Navy to be exact. The military is a large part of Turian society especially with it being a mandatory for all male Turians to enlist at the age of fifteen. Most stay in the military until they are thirty years old, after that they transfer to the reserve force of their specific military branch. Once on the reserves, the Turian can pursue other career options or higher education. Most stay in and spend their whole life in the military mainly out of tradition. Women can still enlist in the military, although it is not mandatory. Some perks are usually provided, such as a higher starting pay grade, if a woman chooses to enlist.

Lisianthes is the oldest of three children, having two younger brothers. She and her brothers spent most of their youth traveling around with their parents whenever they transferred to a new duty station. Because of this, they got to see many places in the galaxy that they might not have seen if they had stayed on Palaven.

She enlisted in the Navy once she was old enough, following in her parent’s footsteps. She chose to enlist as an officer because she did very well in her academic studies and basic combat training which is a part of every Turian education.

Shortly after enlisting, she was diagnosed with a condition that affected her lungs; a disorder that was dormant throughout her childhood and did not manifest itself until she became an adult. This disorder causes irritation in the lining of the lungs that can give her coughing fits and make it painful to breathe if left untreated. As it stands right now, it is only kept in check with daily medication. No known cure exists that can completely cure the disorder, only risky experimental procedures, which Lisianthes chose not to risk.

Not letting that slow her down, she focused on her career more than ever as she rose through the ranks. Her naval training made her an expert of a ship’s combat and cyber warfare capabilities. Starting off as a junior officer, she was mainly in charge of a division in the ship’s Combat Information Center (CIC) and/or the CIC department overall. She worked her way up to the executive officer position, and finally, commanding officer. She commanded several ships before she was promoted to Rear Admiral. Now her job consists of sitting in an office on a naval base on Palaven, going to meetings with other Admirals and serving as an advisor for various combat and cyber warfare related tasks. Still, she prefers life on a ship over sitting at a desk in an office all day; the higher paycheck is nice, but sometimes it isn’t about the money. She does still find an excuse from time to time to visit one of the ships she used to command just to rekindle some old memories.

Her time on the various naval ships did not leave a lot of time for her romance life. She had a few boyfriends here and there, but never anything serious due to her constant traveling. Only by the time she reached the Rear Admiral rank was she able to have the time to pursue romantic interests. She met Lana, an Asari musician one night while she was out on the town during some time off. Lana looked like most Asari, blue skin, almost three times Lisianthes’ age but didn’t look a day over twenty. They hit it off, dating for quite some time before eventually getting married. Lana chose to stay on Palaven to live with Lisianthes rather than move back to Thessia mainly because of Lisianthes’ work there on Palaven and a decent paying job working in a night club as a DJ.
